Our pets love us unconditionally - so why not give back to your best friends by bringing them out to experience a day of fun, frolic and exploration? Pets and their owners are invited to join Charleston County Parks for a full weekend of exhibits, demonstrations, experts, entertainment, and more at Charleston’s premiere pet festival! Pet Fest provides an opportunity for local pet-related organizations and businesses to showcase their causes, products and services in a fun, animal-friendly environment. Leashed pets are welcome with their owners! Or, come to the festival in search of your new best friend from area rescue groups, who will have adoptable animals on site.
Hours & Fees
Time: 10 a.m. - 4 p.m.
Place: Mount Pleasant Palmetto Islands County Park
Admission: $8 per person. Children 12 and under, Gold Pass Members, and leashed pets are free.
Admission discounted to $5 per person with pet food or pet supply item donation.
Carpooling is encouraged, as parking is limited.
ID is required to purchase alcohol. Outside food, alcohol, and coolers are prohibited.

Macaroni & Please is a modern manners program designed to introduce students to the basic principles of good manners. The classes are fun and include interactive activities aimed to help strengthen social and emotional learning focusing on self-presentation, introductions, body language, self-control, empathy, forgiveness, gratitude, manners in school, home and in public and dining etiquette.
Dates: Tuesdays March 14th - April 4th

Brick Fest Theater Trivia & Entertainment: Participate in LEGO trivia all while taking a break from what will be an overwhelming amount of awesome!

Bring your favorite stuffed friend (or one will be provided) and join MUSC’s Child Life team for a special Teddy Bear Clinic! This event is FREE with CML Membership or Admission. No pre-registration required.
Come dress up as doctors as we treat our stuffed friends with the best care possible. We’ll check for vitals and perform minor procedures, as well as create x-ray art and decorate our very own hospital badge. This event is presented by MUSC Children’s Health.
– Hospital and medical experiences can be upsetting for children and may interfere with normal childhood activities. Through the use of play, education, and support, Child Life Specialists work to minimize stress and to help children, adolescents, and their families cope with healthcare encounters.
– Child Life Specialists work to support pediatric patients and their families by helping them to prepare for and adjust to hospital visits and medical experiences.
