Macaroni & Please is a modern manners program designed to introduce students to the basic principles of good manners. The classes are fun and include interactive activities aimed to help strengthen social and emotional learning focusing on self-presentation, introductions, body language, self-control, empathy, forgiveness, gratitude, manners in school, home and in public and dining etiquette.
Dates: Tuesdays March 14th - April 4th

Ages Birth – 3
Our youngest visitors (ages Birth – 3 years) and their grown-ups are invited to join us for special programming each week designed to strengthen connections between the child and grown-up by developing rituals, modeling attunement and promoting self-regulation skills. On the first Wednesday of every month, Jessica Flowers from Ripple™ will join us to coach grown-ups in enhancing connections between themselves and their child that increase a child’s attention span and cooperation.Find out more »
Paint a dish and a spoon and create a cow that can jump over the moon. These classes are designed for toddlers (18 months – 3 years) and a parent, grandparent, or friend to play and explore in The Charleston Museum. Each program includes four craft projects as well as finger paints, a puppet stage, a sandbox, and more. All classes are on Wednesdays from 10 – 11 a.m.
$6 for Museum members, $9 for Non-members. Price includes Museum admittance and the Toddler Day program for one child and one adult.

Brown Bag STEM Challenge
Ages 2 – 10
Wednesdays at 4:00pm
Sundays at 3:30pm
Families are invited to tackle a STEM challenge each week. Purchase a brown bag containing the materials your family needs to complete the challenge at the Front Desk any time on Wednesdays and Sundays. Work as a team to design and build your project and then test your design against others with a CML Play Specialist Wednesdays at 4:00pm and Sundays at 3:30pm.
